I build
the plan with you, using your time-scales and taking
account of other commitments you may have. It can
cover a period as short as two months or as long as
two years, up to you. You can modify it at any time
and I will keep you up to date with progress with
regular meetings, emails or telephone calls, as you
prefer.
The
plan will normally involve at least three types of
participant: You, Me and Third parties who will perform
specific tasks for you. Some examples are Hotels,
Removal companies, Relocation or Estate agents, meter
readings, telephone connection etc, etc.
The plan will
cover everything that you want from selling, renting or
closing down your UK property, to hotel and car-hire bookings,
meetings with builders, Estate agents and a Notaire, looking
at schools, getting photos taken and translations done,
opening bank accounts...the list can be long.
I
can be the principal point of contact for all
aspects of your move.
Once
we are both satisfied that the plan is realistic and
complete I can either hand it to you to manage yourselves,
or manage it myself as your project manager and
coordinator. This choice is entirely up to you.
Depending on
the amount of work you have already done on your project,
the complexity of your move and the level of detail you
require, a good plan will normally take between one and
three days to write.
