Translation service

I offer an expert translation service from French to English by a qualified translator, BA (Hons) Oxon. and Diploma in Translation from the Institute of Linguists.

I do NOT use any translation software for this purpose.
Every item is translated by a professional to ensure maximum quality, speed and accuracy.

All types of work are considered, from legal documents, contracts and surveyors' reports, to letters, e-mail communications and estate agents' details.

If your French is a bit rusty, make sure you really know what it is that you are signing BEFORE you sign it - mistakes are often made this way by unwary customers, and it is far cheaper and easier to put things right before signing than after.

My translator has lived and worked in France for several years, and has a wide experience in dealing with French red-tape, as well as speaking fluent French.

My rates are competitive for the standard of service offered - beware cheap or free translation services, where computer software translates word-for-word without any understanding of content or meaning.
Legal language is complicated enough, without allowing computer software to render it unintelligible.

My rates are £75 per hour, depending on the content and length of the document.
